Job summary

COMHAR, Inc. is seeking a Contractor Therapist to deliver evidence-based therapy and comprehensive assessments for individuals with mental health and co-occurring substance use needs across three Philadelphia locations.

The role emphasizes recovery, trauma-informed care, and collaboration with multidisciplinary teams. The outpatient therapist will work a hybrid schedule (home 3 days/week and in-office 2 days/week for 30+ hours) with opportunities for licensure supervision and ongoing

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in a relevant field and licensure eligibility.
• Experience in behavioral health/substance use fields.
• Ability to manage a caseload and work independently.
• Experience with evidence-based practices a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provides recovery-oriented screenings and comprehensive bio-psycho-social assessments.
• Provides individual and group therapy addressing addictive behaviors using evidence-based practices.
• Participates in multidisciplinary team meetings and supervision to coordinate care.
• Plans treatment with recovery-focused goals and measurable objectives.
• Completes assessments, documentation, and screening tools on schedule.
• Maintains community resources and shares information with the team.
