Job summary

Amazing Outpatient Surgery Organization is seeking a Hybrid Outpatient Medical Coder (Surgical Coding) to join the Revenue Cycle team. This is a temp-to-perm role with hybrid work options across NYC metro locations.

Ideal candidates have CPC certification and 3 years of outpatient surgical coding experience, plus strong skills with EHRs and Microsoft Office. Excellent communicator and team player wanted.

Qualifications

• 3 years of outpatient medical coding experience, preferably in surgery.
• CPC certification is required.
• Proficient with insurance portals and EHR systems.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Perform outpatient surgical coding tasks in a hybrid setting.
• Navigate insurance websites to verify and code claims.
• Utilize MS Office and EHR systems to document work.
• Support Revenue Cycle activities and quality coding practices.
