Job summary

Dexian is seeking an experienced Oracle database developer for a hybrid role based near Pennington, NJ. You will build and tune Oracle databases, and craft stored procedures, packages, functions and complex queries.

The ideal candidate has 6–10 years of hands-on Oracle development, strong SQL/PLSQL skills, and the ability todebug production issues and validate data with reconciliation scripts. Java/JDBC experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• 6-10 years of hands-on Oracle database development experience.
• Strong proficiency in Oracle SQL and PL/SQL.
• Experience creating and working with stored procedures, packages, functions, and complex queries.
• Strong knowledge of SQL performance tuning and execution plan analysis.
• Experience debugging database code and resolving production issues.
• Ability to analyze data discrepancies and develop validation and reconciliation scripts.
• Knowledge of Oracle database connectivity and troubleshooting.
• Working knowledge of Java and JDBC is preferred.
• Experience troubleshooting Java applications that interact with Oracle databases is preferred.
• Strong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop Oracle databases and work with stored procedures, packages, functions, and complex queries.
• Tune SQL performance and analyze execution plans.
• Debug database code and resolve production issues.
