Job summary

A leading technology staffing firm is immediately hiring an Oracle Database Engineer / Admin in Alpharetta, Georgia. The position involves providing support, tuning, and implementing DBMS installations while ensuring production uptime and data integrity. This full-time, contract role offers a salary range of $65 to $69 per hour and a hybrid work model with three days in the office. Qualifications

• Expertise in Installation, Upgrade & Patching of different Oracle components.
• Experience with Replication setup and troubleshooting.
• Ensure production uptime service levels and security.
• Knowledge of Disaster Recovery setup and maintenance.
• Experience with Performance analysis and tuning.

Responsibilities

• Provide guidance and support to the Application team.
• Install, tune, implement, and upgrade DBMS installations.
• Write and deploy SQL patches.
• Proactively make recommendations for system improvements.
