Job summary

PG&E in San Ramon is seeking an Operations Data Analyst to extract and analyze operations data, maintain data tools, and support leadership with timely insights. The role combines data engineering and analytics to improve performance across the Wildfire, Emergency and Operations unit.

You will work hybrid from remote and onsite, with Tuesdays in-office at HQ, and you will build dashboards using Power BI, write SQL, and collaborate across teams to deliver actionable reports.

Qualifications

• BA/BS degree or equivalent work experience in a relevant field.
• At least 2 years of related data analytics experience.

Responsibilities

• Manage standard, routine data analysis projects from request to results, on time and within budget.
• Collaborate with Data Management Analysts to process data, analyze it and report findings; create automated routines.
• Handle data extracts and transfers from databases to support analytical efforts.
• Apply data processing and analysis techniques to generate ad hoc reports, statistics and trends.
• Develop clear, concise, actionable analyses for stakeholders.
