Job summary

Howden is seeking an Operations Analyst in New York with a hybrid work schedule. The role supports the Private Capital broking teams through the policy lifecycle and prepares surplus lines filings while ensuring regulatory deadlines are met.

The candidate will coordinate with brokers and cross-functional partners to reconcile policy financials, review NDAs/NRLs, and ensure data quality across systems. A bachelor’s degree or relevant experience is required.

Qualifications

• 1-5 years’ experience. Experience in a related field preferred.
• General understanding of insurance and surplus lines rules preferred.
• Bachelor’s Degree or relevant experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide support to brokers, operations, finance, legal, and compliance teams throughout policy lifecycle.
• Apply knowledge of state surplus lines rules and Howden Private Capital products to review policy information.
• Complete carrier and state surplus lines forms with accurate policy data.
