Job summary

John Hancock Life Insurance Company (USA) is seeking an Operations Analyst to design, automate, and maintain Power BI and PAIR reporting. The position requires a Master’s degree and 1 year of experience in BI development, ETL processing, and data analytics.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree or foreign equivalent in CS/IT/Management/Data Analytics
• 1 year of Systems/Operations Analyst experience
• 1 year of BI development experience using Power BI
• 1 year of ETL processing with MS SQL Server and Azure Data Lake
• 1 year of project management with multiple high-stakes deliverables
• 1 year of business analysis to identify trends and risks
• 1 year of SQL query development for data analysis
• 1 year of functional/regression/integration testing and test planning
• 1 year of data feeds validation and release management
• 1 year of IAM and risk management knowledge for compliance
• 1 year of Power Platform including Power Apps/Automate/Query/Power BI Workspaces

Responsibilities

• Design, automate and maintain Power BI and PAIR reporting to enhance visibility into access controls, risk ratings, entitlements, and compliance.
• Design and deploy Power BI dashboards to automate KRI calculations and standardize reporting frameworks.
• Enhance PAIR data models with new fields and compliance filters for ACL policy tracking.
• Develop automation for data integration including Azure AD permissions into PAIR.
• Develop ACL segment analysis methods for RR2 and RR1–RR7 with Azure entitlements and data across platforms.
• Identify and resolve data feed issues including Qualys and ensure data ingestion into PAIR.
• Integrate new data sources into PAIR and create comparison reports for data structures.
• Design dashboards integrating APIs from HashiCorp Vault, CyberArk, Azure Key Vault for non-compliant accounts and onboarding.
• Test and validate production updates; support Azure migration and deployment.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement data processing logic and support release cycles.
