Qualifications

• Graduation from an American Bar Association accredited school of law.
• Current active membership in good standing of the State Bar of Texas.
• Twelve (12) full years of active practice as a licensed attorney (Assistant City Attorney IV).
• Eighteen (18) full years of active practice as a licensed attorney (Assistant City Attorney V).

Responsibilities

• Provide advanced legal advice to elected officials and senior/executive management on highly complex issues.
• Perform and supervise sophisticated legal research for high-impact matters.
• Prepare legal documents for complex matters and lead advocacy efforts for the City.
