Job summary

Qualifications

• MS or MA in Communication Studies at the time of application.
• Specialization in applied communication or organizational communication preferred.
• Proven ability to teach business communication and online modalities.
• Experience with diverse adult learners and inclusive teaching practices.

Responsibilities

• Teach a 4/4 load with a mix of face-to-face and online asynchronous courses.
• Instruct courses in applied organizational communication, including business communication, digital communication, and public speaking.
• Engage in service to the department, campus, and community.
• Demonstrate efforts to take the discipline into the marketplace through workshops, talks, and outreach.
