Job summary

Stanford Health Care in Palo Alto is seeking an Oncology Nurse Navigator to coordinate care from diagnosis through survivorship, working closely with physicians and a multidisciplinary team. This licensed nurse will guide patients through education, clinical options, and support services while ensuring alignment with NCCN/Stanford pathways.

The role supports a hybrid schedule (approximately 4 onsite days and 1 remote day), with no evenings or weekends.

Qualifications

• California RN license required
• Oncology nursing experience preferred
• OCN or AOCNS preferred
• BLS certification required

Responsibilities

• Ensure care meets NCCN/Stanford guidelines and pathways
• Assess patient education needs and discuss trials/options
• Address barriers to care with social work and nutrition
• Facilitate communication within the oncology care team
• Coordinate referrals and supportive care options in the community
