Job summary

Finn Partners, a global public relations agency, seeks a Tech PR Account Executive for its East Coast Technology PR Practice in New York. The AE will manage media relations and deliver impactful campaigns for clients in AI, remote work, robotics, fintech, sustainability, cybersecurity, cloud computing, and consumer tech.

The role requires 2+ years of PR agency experience at Tech PR AAE/AC level, strong storytelling, and proficient writing.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in communications, marketing, or public relations.
• 2+ years of PR agency experience at Tech PR AAE or AC level or above.
• Experience with traditional and social media strategies and campaigns.
• Mastery of basic project management and multi-project handling.
• Strong media relations strategy and storytelling skills.
• Skilled writer and editor with client-ready materials.
• Ability to lead and mentor junior PR staff and drive results.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
• Detail-oriented and deadline-driven.

Responsibilities

• Execute multiple concurrent public relations account strategies and programs for clients.
• Contribute to development and execution of creative PR campaigns, including budget and KPI tracking.
• Implement core PR campaigns: planning, media strategy/pitching, event management, social media, analyst relations, writing/editing, research, and account administration.
• Lead media relations campaigns and mentor junior staff on storytelling, positioning, and reactive media relations.
• Draft client-ready content: strategies, pitches, articles, bios, press materials, and meeting reports.
• Create weekly, biweekly, and monthly client reporting for review and approval.
