Job summary

Demler Armstrong & Rowland, LLP is seeking a Nevada-licensed associate attorney based in Reno for a full-time, hybrid role with a mix of in-office and remote days.

You will draft pleadings, motions and discovery, conduct legal research, prepare case evaluations, and assist supervising partners and clients on general liability and civil litigation from inception through trial or resolution. You will also maintain organized case files and communicate with clients and colleagues.

Qualifications

• Strong foundation in Law with experience in civil litigation and trial practice.
• Licensed to practice law in Nevada.
• Excellent written and oral advocacy skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple matters and meet deadlines; capable of independent and collaborative work.

Responsibilities

• Draft pleadings, motions, and discovery.
• Conduct legal research and analysis.
• Prepare case evaluations and reports for supervising partners and clients.
• Attend hearings, depositions, mediations, and other proceedings as needed.
• Collaborate with team members and staff; maintain organized case files and deadlines.
