ACS Professional Staffing is seeking a Licensing & Environmental Consultant to oversee nuclear licensing and environmental activities for new development projects in Richland, WA. The role requires coordinating regulatory documentation, PSAR/FSAR preparation, and interface with reactor vendors and regulators.

The ideal candidate has a bachelor's degree and 10+ years in regulatory affairs, licensing, or environmental roles within a nuclear plant, with strong communication and compliance skills in

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; 10+ years in regulatory affairs, licensing, environmental, or related roles in a nuclear power plant environment.
• Strong knowledge of nuclear facility licensing and environmental regulations.
• Experience preparing, reviewing, and validating licensing and regulatory document submissions.
• Knowledge of regulatory requirements for submitting documents under oath or affirmation.
• Excellent written and verbal communication with regulatory agencies and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Develop strategic approaches to licensing and environmental activities for new nuclear development initiatives.
• Provide regulatory guidance and expertise to management on licensing, environmental, and regulatory topics.
• Interpret and apply industry guidance and regulatory requirements to project issues.
• Serve as primary interface with reactor vendors and external partners for licensing activities.
• Prepare and review licensing documents (PSAR/FSAR) for permits and licenses.
• Oversee development of Technical Specifications and the Technical Requirements Manual.
• Develop licensing documents related to Fire Protection, Emergency Preparedness, and Nuclear materials controls.
• Ensure licensing documents comply with requirements and reflect source documentation.
• Lead regulatory discussions and meetings with agencies and stakeholders.
• Support regulatory readiness and compliance throughout project development.
