Job summary

Westinghouse Electric Company seeks an entry level Electrical Engineer I to design electrical systems and I&C for nuclear products at the Rock Hill, SC facility. The role blends on-site collaboration with remote work in a hybrid arrangement.

You will report to the Manager, Electrical Engineering and develop design documents, calculations, and specifications while learning new software and collaborating with teams to transfer knowledge.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering required.
• Willing to travel to client sites, as needed.

Responsibilities

• Provide electrical system engineering design, instrumentation and controls (I&C) designs, and electrical system wiring.
• Use standards, techniques, procedures and criteria for development of electrical engineering design documents including calculations and specifications.
• Use software packages such as Mathcad, Matlab, PSPice or equivalent.
• Learn new software packages.
• Work with teams on similar engineering level to obtain necessary information and knowledge transfer.
• Plan and schedule work to meet requirements.
