Brooksource is seeking an experienced Electrical Design Engineer – Nuclear in Charlotte, NC for a multi-year contract. The role is hybrid (2 days on-site) with a 4x10 schedule, offering a compensation range of $50–$55 per hour plus benefits.

W-2 only. The candidate will independently collaborate with stakeholders and cross-functional teams to develop risk-informed tools and processes that enhance nuclear safety, operational decision-making, and regulatory compliance.

Qualificações

• Minimum of 5 years of relevant plant or corporate nuclear experience.
• Experience in the utility industry, preferably at a site/station in Engineering or Operations.
• Familiarity with fundamental BWR or PWR plant systems.
• Proficient in researching engineering and design issues and presenting recommendations.
• MBA and/or PMP designation is a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Develop technical bases and documentation for risk-informed nuclear safety programs (e.g., 10 CFR 50.69 categorizations, STRIDE, Risk Informed Completion Times).
• Research and provide reference documentation; review products with site resources.
• Research and resolve design and operational questions arising from project activities.
• Provide engineering expertise to identify, analyze, and resolve complex issues; communicate options to stakeholders.
• Plan and execute assigned work with estimating, scheduling, and status reporting; manage multiple workstreams with limited standardization.
