Job summary

TEEMA seeks an experienced Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA-C) for a hybrid position delivering both primary and acute care in Nevada. The clinician will care for patients from newborns to geriatrics in a fast-paced setting.

Responsibilities include assessments, diagnoses, treatment planning, testing, prescribing, preventive care, and care coordination, with documentation in EPIC EMR. The rotating 4×10 schedule includes two weekends per month.

Qualifications

• Current Nevada NP or PA-C license
• Current Federal DEA registration
• Current Nevada controlled substance license/registration
• Current BLS certification
• Minimum of three years of clinical experience as NP or PA-C in Ambulatory Care, Occupational Health, Family Practice, or Emergency Department
• Experience with EPIC EMR preferred
• Comfort working with patients from newborns to geriatrics

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive primary and acute care to patients of all ages.
• Perform patient assessments, physical examinations, and health evaluations.
• Diagnose and treat acute illnesses, injuries, and common primary care conditions.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment and care plans.
• Order, perform, and interpret diagnostic and laboratory testing.
• Prescribe medications and treatments within scope of practice.
• Provide preventive care, health education, and wellness counseling.
• Coordinate referrals to specialty or higher levels of care.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and patient encounters in EPIC EMR.
