Accion Opportunity Fund seeks a NMTC Portfolio & Compliance Associate to monitor projects, manage borrower reporting, and support regulatory reporting. You will organize documents, track deadlines, and liaise with borrowers, investors, and partners while learning the NMTC program.

The role blends analytics and administrative tasks, with emphasis on coordination, accuracy, and communication. Prior lending or CDFI experience is helpful; NMTC knowledge is taught on the job.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in finance or related field.
• Ability to read financial statements and calculate basic ratios.
• Experience in lending or portfolio monitoring preferred.
• Strong data handling and reporting skills.
• Excellent communication with borrowers and team members.

Responsabilités

• Serve as main contact for borrowers on reporting requirements.
• Review financial statements for loan covenants and flag concerns.
• Assist with risk ratings and reporting to investors and funders.
• Coordinate with partners to review draw requests and documents.
• Prepare investor reports accurately and timely.
• Track deadlines in Salesforce and maintain status notes.
• Support NMTC allocations and general administrative tasks.
• Assist with loan closings and post-closing orientation.
