Job summary

Berkshire Hathaway GUARD Insurance Companies is seeking a New Jersey Workers' Compensation Claims Adjuster to manage claims from assignment through resolution. Qualifications

• 2+ years of NJ loss time workers compensation experience including litigated claims handling.
• Active adjuster license or willingness to obtain and maintain state licenses.
• Strong investigation, organization, and decision-making skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage workers' compensation claims throughout the claim lifecycle.
• Investigate losses and make compensability decisions.
• Collaborate with claimants, employers, attorneys, medical providers, and vendors.
• Identify recovery opportunities, fraud concerns, and litigation strategies.
• Negotiate settlements and work toward quality claim outcomes.
