Job summary

Executive Mental Health Inc. seeks a Neuropsychologist to provide assessment and evaluation services for contracted skilled nursing facilities across California, including Long Beach.

The role requires forensic mental health evaluation expertise and collaboration with a medical team. Ideal candidates are proficient communicators, experienced with aging-related cognitive disorders, and capable of independent work with staff support, while benefiting from EMH's in-house clinical resources and

Qualifications

• Doctoral degree in Clinical Psychology (PhD or PsyD) is required.
• Current California psychologist license is required.
• Medicare Provider eligibility is required.
• Ability to be placed on 3rd party insurer panels is required.
• Telehealth experience and/or willingness to learn telehealth modality is required.

Responsibilities

• Provide assessment and evaluation services to skilled nursing and assisted living facilities within assigned regions (CA, including Long Beach).
• Conduct initial and detailed neuropsychological evaluations and address differential diagnosis and capacity issues.
• Offer curbside consultations to facility staff and provide treatment planning recommendations and staff education.
• There is potential to train within EMH's forensic division, including reviewing records and testifying as needed.
