Job summary

Executive Mental Health (EMH) seeks a licensed Clinical Neuropsychologist to join our SNF-focused team in California. The role emphasizes patient-centered assessments, cognitive and neuropsychiatric evaluations, and collaboration with a multidisciplinary group to stabilize care and improve outcomes.

You will work on-site at partner facilities, managing a caseload, providing guidance to staff, and supporting residents and families through complex decisions.

Qualifications

• PhD or PsyD in Clinical Psychology is required or strongly preferred.
• Fellowship in neuropsychology is strongly recommended for candidates.
• California licensure or eligibility is essential.

Responsibilities

• Assess, diagnose, and treat residents in skilled nursing facilities.
• Collaborate with psychiatrists, psychologists, nurses, social services, and facility leadership.
• Provide consultation and staff in-services to improve patient care.
• Document care plans consistent with Medicare standards and medical necessity.
• Support families and staff by explaining conditions and future outlooks.
