Job summary

Lynk Global in Chevy Chase, MD is seeking a Network System Administrator to maintain its corporate network, core infrastructure, and security posture for a globally distributed operation. The role is hybrid with 2–3 days onsite and periodic travel to Chantilly, VA.

Responsibilities include configuring LAN/WAN, VPN, and firewalls; managing Azure AD, Intune, and Defender; and ensuring ITAR/NIST compliance while providing end-user IT support as needed.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience in network engineering, systems administration, or infrastructure management.
• Hands-on experience with LAN/WAN, VPN, firewall, and wireless infrastructure.
• Strong Windows Server and macOS administration experience.
• Experience administering Azure AD, Conditional Access, and Office 365.
• Hands-on with Intune for device/endpoint management and compliance.
• Experience with NinjaOne or ManageEngine for MDM/endpoint management.
• Defender Endpoint/365 security tooling and ITAR/NIST 800-171 familiarity.
• Ability to provide basic end-user IT support alongside infrastructure duties.

Responsibilities

• Configure, deploy, and maintain LAN/WAN, wireless, VPN, and firewall infrastructure across Lynk locations.
• Administer network segmentation, routing, VLANs and support capacity planning as the company scales.
• Harden core infrastructure: Azure AD, CA, DNS/DHCP, Office 365, and endpoint security.
• Manage endpoint compliance via Intune and MDM platforms, including patching and policy design.
• Deploy and monitor security posture with Defender; handle threat detection and remediation.
• Manage server infrastructure (physical/virtual), including provisioning, patching, backup, lifecycle.
• Monitor health, lead incident response and root-cause analysis for outages/perf issues.
• Enforce ITAR and export-control obligations through security controls and MFA.
• Support CMMC Level 2 compliance; maintain endpoint baselines and audit evidence.
• Document topology, configurations, and disaster recovery procedures.
• Provide basic end-user IT support; assist onboarding/offboarding from an IAM perspective.
