Job summary

Clarity Partners is hiring a Network Manager in Chicago, IL, to lead enterprise network engineering in a complex healthcare environment. You will guide LAN/WAN design, security, and UC technologies while partnering with security teams and vendors.

This hybrid role reports to technology leadership and supports future growth. The ideal candidate has 7+ years of network engineering experience, 5+ years of IT leadership, and a track record in multi-site, high-availability networks within healthcare.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, MIS, Engineering, Business, or related field.
• 7+ years in professional network engineering with LAN/WAN/WiFi/VoIP/VPN.
• 5+ years IT management or tech leadership, preferably healthcare.
• 3+ years supervising network/UC professionals.
• Experience designing highly available enterprise networks in multi-site environments.

Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee the Network Engineering team with standards and best practices.
• Mentor and develop technical staff through performance management and training.
• Oversee design, implementation, maintenance of LAN/WAN, wireless, VoIP, VPN, UC, and Internet/Intranet infra.
• Act as owner for network services: availability, security, recoverability, performance.
• Develop network architecture documentation and operating procedures.
• Lead architecture initiatives and evaluate technical options for business needs.
• Establish network monitoring and operations capabilities to preempt issues.
