Job summary

System One in Lebanon, OH is seeking a Network Engineer to design, implement, and support enterprise network infrastructure across multiple locations. The role requires hands-on experience with routing, switching, security, VPNs, and wireless connectivity in a hybrid work environment.

You will collaborate with IT, security, and operations teams, document configurations, participate in on-call rotas, and help drive network projects from planning through validation and handoff.

Qualifications

• Associate's or bachelor’s degree in a related field, or equivalent education/experience.
• 3+ years of network administration/engineering in an enterprise environment.
• Experience in multi-site or manufacturing environments is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and troubleshoot enterprise network across multiple locations.
• Configure routing, switching, security, and access control per standards.
• Monitor network availability, performance, capacity, and security; document root cause and corrective actions.
• Plan, test, implement, validate and hand off network changes.
• Support connectivity for corporate, manufacturing, and OT with security and change-control.
• Maintain documentation and assist with software updates, vulnerability remediation, and incident response.
• Automate routine administration or reporting tasks and share knowledge.
• Collaborate with infrastructure, security, business teams, and vendors to deliver solutions.
• Participate in after-hours maintenance, on-call support, and travel to locations as needed.
• Perform other duties and special projects as assigned.
