Qualifications

• Expert knowledge configuring Cisco/Juniper/Brocade/Arista switches and routers.
• Carrier technologies: BGP, VRF Lite, ISIS, MPLS, BFD, CCC, GRE, RSVP.
• Routing protocols: IBGP, OSPF, VRRP, VARP, HSRP, PBR.
• Firewall policies: Palo Alto, Juniper, Cisco, Fortinet.
• Experience with networking equipment, wireless APs, and related devices.
• Detail-oriented and organized.
• Excellent client relationship and documentation skills (MS Office, Visio).
• Ability to work early mornings or late nights; travel as needed.
• CCIE certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Work with business management to align tech strategy with goals.
• Analyze needs and state of the network’s design and operations.
• Architect networks reflecting business priorities and availability requirements.
• Develop design principles, models, budgets, and processes.
• Establish governing principles for network design and deployment.
• Participate in selection of networking technologies and products.
• Lead teams of network designers and engineers in detailed designs and QC.
• Keep abreast of business and tech status; respond to design requests.
