Job summary

The Connecticut Judicial Branch is seeking a .Net Application Developer (Information Technology Analyst Trainee) in East Hartford. You will join the IT Division, Production Support Team to build, modernize, and maintain web apps using C#, ASP.NET, and SQL Server, and to create and consume APIs for seamless client-server data interchange.

Key duties include UI/UX prototyping, full-stack development, database management with SSMS, and API integration, with hybrid remote work possible after hire.

Qualifications

• Two years of IT-related experience in operations, programming, systems/software development, or another IT field.

Responsibilities

• UI/UX design and prototyping with business users to translate requirements into user-first workflows.
• Full-stack development using C# and ASP.NET in Visual Studio or VS Code to build responsive web features.
• Design, build, test, and consume secure APIs for front-end and back-end integration.
• Write and optimize SQL queries; manage relational database schemas with SSMS.
• Implement responsive layouts using HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and Bootstrap.
• Maintain and manage source code with Git workflows.
• Debug applications across the full lifecycle using browser dev tools to fix UI or network issues.
