Job summary

Lindt & Sprüngli (North America) Inc. in Kansas City, MO is seeking a logistics professional to manage day-to-day load planning across multiple transportation modes.

You will coordinate routing, review freight costs, and collaborate with customer service, distribution centers, carriers, and planning teams to optimize service and cost. The role requires a bachelor’s degree or equivalent, strong Excel skills, and good communication.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in a related field.
• Experience in consumer-packaged goods (CPG) environment.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily load planning across all transportation modes.
• Communicate with customer service, plants/DCs, and carriers to minimize delays.
• Review routing and freight costs to optimize service and cost.
• Monitor carrier performance and manage exceptions.
• Work within Transportation Management System (TMS) for scheduling and analytics.
• Support special projects as assigned.
