Job summary

Cognizant is seeking a MuleSoft Tech Lead to design, build, and maintain integration solutions using MuleSoft’s Anypoint Platform. The role focuses on API development, data transformations, and cross-system connectivity to support utilities and outage management.

The position is hybrid with two days per week in a Cognizant office in San Francisco, CA. It requires 10–13 years of enterprise integration leadership and MuleSoft certification, with strong API governance and secure, scalable delivery.

Qualifications

• 10–13 years of enterprise integration experience.
• Hands-on MuleSoft Anypoint Platform expertise.
• End-to-end API lifecycle management with API Manager.
• Experience with AWS Kiro for design and workflows.
• MuleSoft Certification or equivalent certification.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and delivery of secure, scalable integration solutions.
• Drive the end-to-end API lifecycle through API Manager and MuleSoft capabilities.
• Define reusable API-led integration patterns and security standards.
• Provide hands-on technical leadership for architecture, development, and QA.
• Implement authentication, authorization, encryption, logging and monitoring.
• Optimize performance, availability, and resilience of integrations.
• Collaborate with product owners and cloud teams on designs and timelines.
• Maintain architecture docs, runbooks, and mentor engineers.
