Job summary

GlaxoSmithKline is seeking a Field Based Medical Science Liaison to lead external engagement and education with key external experts and professional bodies. The role covers execution of engagement plans across therapy areas and travel across the Midwest and South regions.

It requires medical/pharmacology background and prior liaison experience, with hybrid field-based work and collaboration with medical affairs, R&D, and sales teams to advance patient care.

Qualifications

• Pharm. D or Ph. D, DNP, or MD with a medical or clinical focus.
• 2+ years' experience in pharmacology and pharmacotherapy in humans.
• Must live within territory specified.

Responsibilities

• Identify External Experts, professional groups and key stakeholders in the therapy area and geography.
• Respond to unsolicited information requests from healthcare professionals in a compliant manner.
• Deliver scientific training to sales representatives and to HCPs using approved materials.
• Attend regional and national medical meetings to capture current data and insights.
• Support clinical development activities and investigator sponsored studies.
