Job summary

GlaxoSmithKline is seeking a Field Based Medical Science Liaison to lead external engagement strategies across the Midwest South territory and to collaborate with Medical Affairs and R&D teams. The role combines field travel with remote work, focusing on scientific exchange, safety communications, and clinical collaboration with investigators and steering committees.

You will train sales representatives, support investigator-initiated studies, and partner with matrix teams to align patient care

Qualifications

• Pharm. D or Ph. D, DNP, or MD (with a medical or clinical focus)
• 2+ years' experience in pharmacology and pharmacotherapy in humans
• Must live within territory specified.

Responsibilities

• Identify External Experts, professional groups, and key stakeholders in the assigned therapy area or geography.
• Respond to information requests from health care professionals; ensure responses are factual, balanced, and compliant.
• Disseminate safety information and conduct scientific exchange for labeled indications and related data.
