Job summary

The UC Davis Comprehensive Cancer Center’s Office of Community Outreach and Engagement is seeking a mobile mammography program coordinator to expand access to breast cancer screening for underrepresented and medically underserved communities across the Greater Sacramento region.

The incumbent will be responsible for providing programmatic, administrative and research implementation support, program evaluation, operational coordination, and patient navigation for the Mobile Mammo+ program.

Qualifications

• Experience working with medically underserved populations in a healthcare setting.
• Ability to learn and use REDCap database.
• Knowledge of EPIC (EMR) or willingness to learn.
• Speaks, reads, and writes Spanish or another non-English language.
• Familiarity with HIPAA, privacy rules and medical records handling.
• Knowledge of health insurance systems (Medi-Cal, MediCare, HMOs, PPOs) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate mobile screening events with UC Davis Health and community partners.
• Manage patient scheduling, registration verification, and follow-up care.
• Support data collection, program evaluation and reporting.
• Provide health system navigation to address barriers to care.
