Harley Ellis Devereaux (HED) is seeking an ICT Engineer - Mission Critical to design and coordinate advanced ICT systems on complex projects. The role involves producing design deliverables, resolving cross-discipline issues, and supporting client communication.

Responsibilities include managing Revit models, performing cabling calculations, and mentoring junior staff, with a hybrid work model that blends in-office collaboration with remote work.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or related field or equivalent experience.
• Registered Communications Distribution Designer (RCDD) certification required.
• 2-5 years of ICT or low-voltage systems design experience in the AEC industry.
• Familiarity with BICSI, EIA/TIA, NEC and other telecom standards.

Responsabilités

• Develop ICT system designs for complex projects, producing calculations and documentation with limited supervision.
• Manage Revit models and low-voltage system views to support project deliverables.
• Perform calculations for cabling distances, voltage drops, and equipment loads.
• Resolve cross-discipline coordination issues with architects and engineers.
• Support site visits, field reports, punch lists and construction administration.
• Contribute to QA/QC by reviewing design accuracy and standards compliance.
• Mentor junior staff on tasks and workflows with guidance from senior engineers.
• Participate in technical meetings and client discussions, supporting senior staff.
• Assist in proposal preparation and scoping with technical input.
