Job summary

NOREAS, Inc. seeks a mid-level Geologist, Civil Engineer, or Environmental Engineer for our Seattle office. The role requires 5–10 years in environmental investigation and remediation and some travel across the U.S.

This is a full-time, hybrid position with a mix of office and field work. Candidates should have a BS in Geology or Civil/Environmental Engineering (MS a plus) and ideally Washington licensure (Geologist or PE).

Qualifications

• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without visa sponsorship.
• 5 to 10 years of experience in the environmental investigation and remediation industry.
• Washington State Licensed Geologist or Professional Engineer preferred (or actively pursuing licensure).
• Capable of supervising complex field projects.
• Travel and field work 25-50%, throughout the U.S.
• Strong writing and analytical skills for work plans and reports.

Responsibilities

• Capable of working as project manager or task manager for groundwater monitoring, remediation system design/installation/operation and maintenance, and other environmental/construction projects.
• Supervision of complex field projects and site investigations.
• Prepare work plans and reports and support proposals and cost estimates.
