Job summary

St. Luke's University Health Network is seeking a full-time Medical Billing Specialist to process UB04 and HCFA-1500 claims, ensuring accurate data, timely submissions, and maximum reimbursements. The role supports coordination with patients and payers and requires strong Microsoft Office skills and EPIC experience.

Hybrid remote option available after on-site training for local PA/NJ candidates. Candidates should have a High School Diploma or equivalent and a Medical Billing/Coding certificate.

Qualifications

• Experience with third party billing in hospital or physician settings.
• Must be able to read, write and communicate effectively in English.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office; EPIC experience a plus.

Responsibilities

• Process UB04 and HCFA-1500 claims to ensure timely reimbursement.
• Submit claims and manage accounts receivable per productivity standards.
• Verify accuracy of billing data and revise as needed.
• Report claim submission trends to management.
• Coordinate with patients, payers and COB/auto insurance information.
• Maintain confidentiality and multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
