The College of Health Care Professions is seeking a Medical Assistant Laboratory Skills Instructor to teach both theory and hands-on practice across classroom, clinical practicum, simulation, and laboratory settings. You will monitor student attendance, set objectives, mentor students, and coordinate ongoing training to support competency.

This is a hybrid role, with online services and a must-be-located-in-Austin requirement.

Qualifications

• Experience in teaching and curriculum delivery in healthcare settings.
• Strong clinical skills including phlebotomy, injections, CPR and aseptic technique.
• Ability to assess student competency and provide feedback.

Responsabilités

• Teach theory and practical applications in classroom, practicum, simulation, and skills lab.
• Maintain classroom order and supervise students in lab/clinical settings.
• Assess learning and document student progress; manage CPR instruction per AHA guidelines.
