Job summary

Backbone is seeking a Media Strategist for a hybrid role in Denver or Carbondale, CO, with 2 days in the office. You’ll lead paid media strategy for 3–5 clients, spanning social, search, programmatic, and traditional channels, and work with internal teams to keep plans on track.

The ideal candidate has 2–5 years of paid media experience, agency or client-side background, and a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.

• Agency or client-side marketing experience preferred.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

• Develop paid media strategy grounded in client goals and audience.
• Build and present media plans across full mix: social, search, programmatic, and traditional buys.
• Execute on channels outside core search/social/programmatic and manage partnerships.
• Collaborate with internal teams to keep work on strategy and on pace.
• Turn performance data into insights and recommendations.
