Placements24 is seeking a motivated Media Relations Coordinator to support the communications team in East London. You will help develop media relations strategies, respond to press inquiries, and draft press materials as needed, ensuring timely and accurate messaging.

Working closely with the Media Relations Manager, you will maintain media contact lists, monitor coverage, and assist with planning press events. A hybrid work arrangement offers in-office collaboration and remote flexibility.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, or a related field.
• 1-3 years of experience in media relations, PR, or a communications support role.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency with media monitoring tools and social media platforms.
• Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Ability to work effectively in a hybrid environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist in developing and executing media relations strategies.
