Job summary

Zebra Technologies in Holtsville, NY invites you to a Summer Internship with the Enterprise Mobile Computing Mechanical Development Team. The program blends design, manufacturing, and testing of Zebra’s mobile computers in a hybrid, three-day-per-week office setting.

You will gain hands-on experience with PTC Creo, perform design of experiments, analyze data, and document technical findings while developing leadership and organizational skills alongside mentors and peers.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in an undergraduate Mechanical Engineering program.
• Anticipated graduation between 2027 and 2029.
• Authorized to work in the US without sponsorship now or in the future.
• Experience with PTC Creo or equivalent CAD software is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate in cross-functional teams to advance engineering projects.
• Work with PTC Creo for 3D modeling and design.
• Learn design and manufacturing best practices.
• Apply AI-assisted engineering workflows while understanding Zebra product requirements.
• Develop planning, organizational, and leadership skills.
• Increase technical knowledge related to Zebra's product portfolio.
• Manage team-based assignments.
• Communicate effectively with day-to-day business contacts.
