Placements24 is seeking a motivated Mechanical Engineer with a strong aptitude for Project Management to join our team in Welkom. This hybrid role blends on-site collaboration with remote flexibility to drive engineering projects from initiation to completion.

The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor's in Mechanical Engineering, 3–5 years in mechanical engineering with project management interest, and strong organizational and communication skills to coordinate across departments and ensure quality,

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline.
3-5 years of experience in mechanical engineering with an interest or experience in project management.
Familiarity with project management methodologies and tools.
Strong organizational, time management, and communication skills.
Ability to work effectively both independently and in a hybrid team.

Responsibilities

Manage and coordinate all phases of engineering projects, from planning to closeout.
Develop detailed project plans with scope, timelines, resources, and budgets.
Liaise with clients, suppliers, and internal teams for alignment on goals.
Monitor progress, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies.
