You will design, analyze, and test electromechanical components for Class 3 medical devices, collaborating with cross-functional teams to define requirements and reliability targets.

The role requires a bachelor’s in mechanical engineering with 5+ years of experience (or a master's with 3+ years), proficiency in CAD

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering and 5+ years of related experience, or a master’s with 3+ years.
• Experience creating detailed mechanical designs and assemblies.
• Proficient in GD&T, materials, finishes, fabrication and assembly processes.
• Experience with CAD systems and documentation for 510(k) submissions.

Responsabilités

• Interface with cross-functional teams to define subsystem requirements and failure modes.
• Design and analyze mechanical and electromechanical components for Class 3 medical devices.
• Develop prototypes and test protocols to confirm performance and lifetimes.
• Collaborate with vendors to ensure quality and manufacturability.
• Document development activities for inclusion in 510(k) submissions.
• Provide design input for packaging documentation and assist with investigations.
• Own development from origination through production release.
