Johnson Matthey is seeking a Material Handler in West Whiteland, PA. You’ll handle, process and ship precious metal materials while keeping precise records and supporting material flow across Supply Chain, Production and Logistics.

You will weigh materials, manage inventory, verify stock and ensure shipments are packed, documented and compliant with safety and regulatory requirements. The role emphasizes EH&S standards and continuous improvement within a global leader.

Qualifications

• Previous hands-on experience in material handling, logistics, warehousing or a manufacturing environment.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work across teams.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and ERP or inventory systems.
• Strong organizational, prioritization and problem-solving abilities.
• Commitment to safety, quality and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Handling, processing and shipping precious metal materials while maintaining accurate transaction records.
• Supporting material flow across Supply Chain, Production and Logistics to help achieve OTIF delivery targets.
• Performing material weighing, inventory management, stock verification and physical inventory activities.
• Ensuring all shipments are packed, documented and transported in line with safety, security and regulatory requirements.
• Maintaining compliance with EH&S standards, security procedures and quality requirements.
• Assisting with equipment checks, troubleshooting and continuous improvement initiatives across the operation.
