Job summary

Talentify is seeking a Business Analyst in New York, NY to support the Market Risk Control function for US Prime Services. The role emphasizes risk identification, monitoring, and mitigation in a fast-paced environment.

You will leverage Python, SQL, and data automation to build risk dashboards, analyze exposures, and contribute to risk management policies while collaborating with Front Office, Operations, Credit Risk, and Technology.

Qualifications

• Strong Python and SQL programming
• Knowledge of capital markets products and risk management concepts
• Experience in risk analytics, dashboards, and regulatory discussions

Responsibilities

• Monitor Prime Brokerage client portfolios for market, credit, concentration, liquidity, and counterparty risks.
• Apply sound risk judgment to day-to-day risk management situations, escalating material issues and recommending risk mitigation measures.
• Oversee margin, collateral, and risk management processes to align with risk policies and appetite.
• Analyze market events and stress scenarios on client exposures and portfolio risk profiles.
• Prepare risk dashboards, portfolio analytics, and management reports for senior management and committees.
• Develop and implement risk management policies, controls, and infrastructure improvements.
