Job summary

TD Securities (USA) LLC is seeking an Associate for Market Risk Control in US Prime Services. You will support risk identification, monitoring, and mitigation across prime brokerage activities, leveraging data analytics and automation to strengthen risk decisions in a fast-paced environment.

The role requires 3+ years in market risk or related fields, strong technical skills in Python/SQL/Power BI, and effective communication across large teams.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of experience in market risk, counterparty credit risk, margin, collateral management, Prime Brokerage risk, or related capital markets function.
• Strong understanding of capital markets products and risk management concepts, including equities, fixed income, derivatives, and financing transactions.
• Excellent analytical, quantitative, and problem‑solving skills with the ability to assess risk exposures and make sound recommendations.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to interact effectively across business and functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Monitor Prime Brokerage client portfolios and identify emerging market, credit, concentration, liquidity, and counterparty risks.
• Prepare risk dashboards, portfolio analytics, and management reporting for senior management and regulators.
• Utilize data analytics, automation and AI-enabled tools to improve risk monitoring and reporting efficiency.
• Collaborate with Front Office, Operations, Credit Risk, Market Risk, Legal, Compliance, Technology, and Project teams.
