Zurich North America is launching a 2027 Market Facing Underwriting Training Program in Philadelphia. The program combines virtual learning, in-person sessions, and networking to build foundational underwriting knowledge.

You will shadow, be mentored, and coached while gaining exposure to live underwriting work and pricing/coverage decisions. Candidates pursuing a business-related bachelor's degree (to graduate by Spring/Summer 2027) with strong analytical and communication skills, plus the

Qualifications

• Pursuing a bachelor's degree in a business-related field and on track to graduate by Spring/Summer 2027.
• Strong analytical and intercommunication skills.
• Ability to multi-task and handle multiple priorities, often under tight deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Structured, cohort-based onboarding with virtual learning, in-person sessions, and networking.
• Job shadowing, mentorship, and real-time coaching.
• Exposure to live underwriting work, including analyzing financials, evaluating risk, and supporting pricing and coverage decisions.
• Transition into a market-facing underwriter role, managing broker relationships and underwriting accounts day-to-day with increasing independence.
