Zurich North America in Overland Park, Kansas is launching its Market Facing Underwriting Training Program for aspiring underwriters. The program blends virtual learning, in-person sessions, and mentorship to develop core underwriting skills for large and multinational exposures.

Participants will gain hands-on experience with live underwriting tasks, shadowing, and coaching, culminating in a transition to a market-facing underwriter role with broker relationships and day-to-day underwriting

Qualifikationen

• Pursuing a bachelor's degree in a business-related field and on track to graduate by Spring/Summer 2027.
• Strong analytical and intercommunication skills.
• Ability to multi-task and handle multiple priorities, often under tight deadlines.

Aufgaben

• Assist in underwriting training with hands-on exposure to analyzing financial statements and risk exposures.
• Support pricing and coverage decisions under guidance of mentors.
• Build broker relationships and transition to a market-facing underwriter role.
• Participate in onboarding and coaching programs to develop foundational underwriting knowledge.
