Qualifications

• 5+ years industry experience
• Commercial Brokerage and/or Underwriting Experience preferably in marine lines of coverage
• P&C license a must, or ability to obtain
• Bachelors' degree preferred

Responsibilities

• Builds and maintains relationships with underwriters and is involved in the placement of sophisticated insurance programs.
• Identify the need for new products and develop innovative solutions for clients.
• Delivers technical expertise in the delivery and presentation of marine portions of RFPs.
• Audit and finalize commission structure with underwriter in accordance with client direction and facility agreements.
• Lead complex placement/technical support activities on big accounts and ensure contract execution.

Education

Bachelor's degree preferred
