Job summary

Marsh seeks a Placement Specialist for the FINPRO team in New York City. This hybrid role requires in-office work at least three days per week. You will build relationships with underwriters, identify client needs, and deliver policy management and marine-focused RFP expertise to support growth and client satisfaction.

Qualifications

• 5+ years industry experience.
• Commercial Brokerage and/or Underwriting Experience preferably in financial lines of coverage.
• P&C license a must, or ability to obtain.
• Bachelor's degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Builds and maintains relationships with underwriters and is involved in the placement of sophisticated insurance programs.
• Helps identify the need for new products and develops innovative solutions for clients.
• Completes policy management activities and delivery of reviewed policy to client and helps address client inquiries as necessary.
• Delivers technical expertise in the delivery and presentation of marine portions of RFPs.
