Job summary

Specified Technologies Inc. (STI) seeks a Cost Accountant for our Burlington, NJ facility.

You will analyze, track, and report manufacturing costs, maintain standard costs, monitor inventory, and support month-end close, budgeting, and forecasting. This hybrid role requires four days per week in the office, with close collaboration across plant leadership, operations, supply chain, and finance to improve costing accuracy and profitability.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting required.
• 3–5 years cost accounting in manufacturing/industrial environment.
• Deep understanding of manufacturing processes (WIP, overhead, BOMs, routings).
• CMA or CPA is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and update standard costs for raw materials, labor, and overhead in the ERP system.
• Analyze variances and provide explanations to management.
• Support month-end close and inventory costing activities.
• Monitor WIP, raw materials, and finished goods valuation and obsolescence reserves.
