Job summary

Amerisure Insurance is seeking a Manager, Underwriting Assistants to lead a developing team in a hybrid-role, splitting time between a local office and remote work. The role focuses on building a strong development program for associates, ensuring quality standards, and aligning resources with organizational goals.

You will manage performance, design learning initiatives, and collaborate across departments to drive improvements and effective cross-functional teamwork.

Qualifications

• 5 years middle market commercial lines underwriting experience.
• 1 year leadership experience preferred.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Demonstrated ability to build positive relationships within department and across the organization.

Responsibilities

• Manage and develop the Associate Underwriting team to ensure productivity and quality.
• Design and oversee the Associate Underwriting development program.
• Allocate resources and prioritize work to meet deadlines and budgets.
• Establish and maintain learning quality standards and program metrics.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize initiatives and communication.
• Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and scalability.
• Provide data-driven insights to support decision-making.
• Coach and mentor team members for career growth within the organization.
