Job summary

Foundation for Individual Rights and Expression (FIRE) is seeking a dynamic individual to identify and cultivate major donors, building a robust prospect pipeline. You will map connections, craft tailored introductions, and advance promising relationships to meaningful gifts that support FIRE’s mission.

You’ll work in a hybrid setup based in Philadelphia or Washington, D.C., with travel as needed, and leverage research, networking, and Salesforce to track progress and optimize strategies.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated ability to identify and cultivate major donors.
• Excellent written and verbal communication to engage prospects.
• Experience with donor databases and prospecting methods is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Find FIRE’s next major donors through research and networking.
• Turn prospects into relationships with tailored outreach.
• Open doors via FIRE’s network to secure warm introductions.
• Create personalized materials to connect interests with FIRE’s mission.
• Monitor opportunities and stay informed on issues relevant to FIRE.
• Develop and optimize the donor pipeline with leadership and Salesforce tracking.
