Job summary

Marsh is seeking a highly analytical Corporate Development Associate to support acquisitions, investments, divestitures, and strategic initiatives across the enterprise. You will work with the Corporate Development team and senior business leaders through market assessment, valuation, due diligence, approval, execution and integration planning.

You will gain broad exposure to Marsh's businesses, partnering with leadership across segments, with significant responsibility early in your career.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, finance or a related field.
• 2+ years of M&A, corporate development or valuation advisory experience.
• Strong comfort with financial and strategic analysis in professional services contexts.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate potential acquisitions, investments, partnerships, and divestitures.
• Conduct company, industry, market, and competitive research.
• Build and maintain financial models, including valuation, transaction and returns analyses.
• Prepare presentations and recommendations for senior management and transaction-approval committees.
• Support due diligence by coordinating internal workstreams and external advisors.
• Assist with indications of interest, letters of intent, Board materials and other documents.
• Track acquisition pipelines and maintain internal transaction and market databases.
• Collaborate with strategy, finance, legal, tax, HR, operations and operating businesses.
